Marlena Davies

Marlena Davies is a Psychotherapist, ADHD and Autism Assessor, and Clinical Supervisor with over 14 years of professional experience across NHS, inpatient, community, and higher education settings. She is accredited with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and specialises in evidence-based ADHD and Autism assessments for children, young people, and adults.
Marlena is a Fellow of Higher Education and an Honorary Lecturer at a leading UK university, where she designs and delivers training for the next generation of clinicians. Her specialist focus is on making psychotherapy more accessible and tailored to the needs of neurodivergent children, young people, and adults.
Her clinical background includes Primary Care Mental Health Teams, stroke and spinal units, health psychology services, and specialist services for individuals with learning difficulties, Autism, and ADHD. She is trained and certified in DIVA-5, Young DIVA, ADR-1, ADOS-2, and ADI-R assessment tools, and is skilled in diagnostic formulation, risk assessment, multidisciplinary collaboration, and delivering comprehensive diagnostic feedback and reports.
At ADHD Assessment and Treatment, Marlena leads the clinical assessment process for children, young people, and adults at the Preston clinic and online across the UK.
Kamila Szumowska
Clinical Psychologist, HCPC accredited, Certified ADHD and Autism Assessor (ADOS, ADI-R)
Kamila Szumowska is a Clinical Psychologist, Integrative CBT-focused Therapist, and Clinical Supervisor with nearly two decades of professional experience in mental health, rehabilitation, and psychological wellbeing. She is a registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
Kamila's clinical career spans Poland and the United Kingdom, where she has supported individuals across all age groups — children, adolescents, adults, and older adults — through evidence-based psychological interventions and comprehensive assessment methods.
In her NHS clinical role, Kamila provides specialist psychological treatment, assessment, and diagnosis, including evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD. She formulates individualised treatment plans, facilitates psychoeducation, and delivers relapse prevention and risk management interventions. She works closely with consultant psychiatrists, participates in group clinical reviews and audits, and maintains the highest standards of professional documentation and ethical care.
At ADHD Assessment and Treatment, Kamila brings her depth of clinical experience to support clients in Preston and across the UK through thorough, compassionate, and evidence-based assessments.
