Neurodiversity-Informed
We approach assessment from a neurodiversity-affirming perspective. ADHD isn't a deficit - it's a different way of experiencing the world. Our goal is to help you understand your brain and access the support that works for you.
Thorough & Compassionate
Every assessment follows gold-standard protocols while remaining person-centered and compassionate. You're not just a checklist of symptoms - you're a whole person with unique strengths and challenges.
Clear Communication
We make sure everything is explained in plain, easy-to-understand terms, avoiding unnecessary jargon. You’ll always be kept fully informed about each step of the process and what your results mean for you.
Supportive Beyond Diagnosis
Getting a diagnosis is just the beginning. We provide clear guidance on next steps, whether that's accessing medication, workplace adjustments, or finding the right support services.

Who We Work With
Adults, Young People & Children
We assess adults of all ages, children and young people who suspect they may have ADHD.
All Backgrounds Welcome
We work with people from all backgrounds and circumstances. Whether you're a student, professional, parent, or anyone seeking answers, you're welcome here.
Late-Diagnosed Individuals
Many people don't discover their ADHD until adulthood. We have particular experience working with adults who've spent years wondering why things felt harder for them.
Diverse Presentations
ADHD looks different in everyone. We are experienced in assessing:
-
Inattentive ADHD (often missed in women and girls)
-
Hyperactive-Impulsive ADHD
-
Combined presentation
-
ADHD alongside other conditions (autism, anxiety, depression)
Beyond ADHD Assessment
While ADHD assessment is our focus on this site, we also offer:
EMDR Therapy
Specialist trauma therapy for adults and children available at mkdtherapy.co.uk
EMDR Supervision
Clinical supervision for therapists seeking EMDR accreditation, with expertise in child and adolescent trauma work
Also from February we will be offering Autism Assessments

How flexible is the scheduling?
Very flexible. Sessions can be scheduled at times that suit you, including evenings and weekends where possible.

Can sessions be online?
