About Our Service

We offer comprehensive ADHD and Autism assessments for children, adolescents, and adults in Preston and across Lancashire. Appointments are available both in person and online, giving you the flexibility to choose the setting that feels most comfortable — with no difference in cost.

Our Approach

We understand that seeking an ADHD or Autism assessment can feel like a significant step. Many people come to us after long periods of uncertainty, unanswered questions, or lengthy waiting lists. Our role is to make the process clear, supportive, and reassuring from beginning to end.

Every assessment is:

  • Thorough and evidence-based

  • Conducted in line with current clinical guidelines

  • Tailored to your individual experiences and needs

  • Delivered with warmth, professionalism, and care

  •

We take time to listen carefully and build a full understanding of your experiences across different stages of life. Our reports are detailed, clear, and thoughtfully written, providing both clarity and practical next steps.

What we do differently?

  • Assessments delivered by compassionate, highly experienced clinicians with strong NHS backgrounds

  • Clear, detailed reports written in line with current NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) guidance — explained in a way that is easy to understand and genuinely helpful.

  • A holistic, person-centred approach that takes time to understand the full picture, including input from families, schools, and other professionals where appropriate.

  • A complimentary follow-up appointment, giving you space to talk through the findings, ask questions, and feel confident about your next steps.

Ongoing Support

  • Our support does not end with the assessment itself. Where appropriate, we guide individuals through next steps such as treatment planning and medication titration, ensuring you feel informed and supported throughout the process.

Client Feedback

  • “Excellent care and support from the very start of the ADHD assessment process through to the end. The report was extremely detailed and thorough, and the ongoing support has been outstanding. I can’t thank Marlena enough.”

  • We are proud to provide a service that people describe as caring, thorough, and supportive throughout their journey.

Neurodiversity-Informed

We approach assessment from a neurodiversity-affirming perspective. ADHD isn't a deficit - it's a different way of experiencing the world. Our goal is to help you understand your brain and access the support that works for you.

Thorough & Compassionate

Every assessment follows gold-standard protocols while remaining person-centered and compassionate. You're not just a checklist of symptoms - you're a whole person with unique strengths and challenges.

Clear Communication

We make sure everything is explained in plain, easy-to-understand terms, avoiding unnecessary jargon. You’ll always be kept fully informed about each step of the process and what your results mean for you.

Supportive Beyond Diagnosis

Getting a diagnosis is just the beginning. We provide clear guidance on next steps, whether that's accessing medication, workplace adjustments, or finding the right support services.
