Initial Screening 
After you reach out, we send you a free screening pack. This includes:

  • An adult self-report checklist

  • A behaviour rating form for children

  • A questionnaire about your personal background and history

Once you send everything back, we review and score your answers. If the results suggest ADHD might be a possibility, we’ll invite you to arrange a full assessment.

Diagnostic ADHD Assessment (90 minutes)


Our 90-minute assessment can be carried out online through Microsoft Teams or, if you're nearby, face-to-face at our Longton clinic. During the session, a team of clinicians reviews your responses using recognised standards, including NICE guidance and structured tools such as the DIVA-5.

Within three weeks, you’ll receive a comprehensive report explaining whether you meet the criteria for an ADHD diagnosis and detailing the professional rationale behind the outcome.

A detailed diagnostic report covering:

  • Full assessment findings

  • Clear diagnosis (ADHD present or not)

  • ADHD subtype if applicable (Inattentive, Hyperactive-Impulsive, or Combined)

Common Questions

Specialized Center for ADHD

Do I need a GP referral?
No, you can book directly. However, I recommend informing your GP that you're pursuing a private assessment.
 

Will you prescribe medication?
If you wish to explore medication, we will arrange an appointment with our Nurse Prescriber who will discuss this with you in more details and be able to prescribe you the medication if suitable. 
 

What if I don't have ADHD?
I'll explain the findings and discuss alternative explanations for your difficulties with appropriate recommendations.
 

Is the assessment NHS-recognised?
Yes, private ADHD assessments from suitably trained clinicians  are recognised by the NHS.
